Please tell us what happened, when it happened, who was involved and what outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly, investigate it fairly, keep you informed if further time is needed, and provide our response in writing. If your concern relates to clinical care or fees, it will normally be shared with the treating dentist unless you ask us not to do so. Complaints and the action taken are recorded securely.
If your complaint about private dental care has not been resolved through our practice procedure, our dentists participate in the independent, voluntary Dental Complaints Resolution Service. Both the patient and dentist participate voluntarily. Current details and contact information are available at dentalcomplaints.ie.
The Dental Council deals separately with serious concerns about a dentist’s fitness to practise. It does not resolve ordinary fee disputes or award compensation. Guidance is available from the Dental Council’s complaints page.
